MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the African Student Association (ASA) at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities is to create a forum where Africans and non-Africans can come together and openly discuss issues concerning Africa and Africans while educating the University and the community at large about Africa and her many rich cultures. And to also provide educational, social, political, and cultural activities and events for the University of Minnesota students. The African Student Association also strives to be involved in volunteerism and activism that aligns with the principles our foundation was built on.
